Glass Painting by Leif Ahrle

With his paintings on glass panels in powerful intense colors Leif Ahrle gives us an idea of the higher energies and the areas between the known and unknown. The artworks has an arabesque light, a touch of quiet meditation and harmony.

For many years, Leif Ahrle has been a full time artist. During several years of experimentation with different techniques and materials he choose to develop his paintings on glass as well as art glass. In "studiohyttor" in Småland, Sweden he has worked with Sweden's most prominent champions in glassblowing. The glass creates a three dimensional effect which emphasizes the spirit of his art, to go behind a surface, straight into a state, or in to the unknown.

In addition to galleries in Sweden, Leif Ahrle also made success in the U.S., Hong Kong and Europe.
